You will therefore be able to visit Amalfi and its maze of medieval streets, the extraordinary Pompeii and of course, the lovely beaches of fine sand which line the coast. By travelling a bit further north, you will find Naples, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. A city of generous spirit, it also opens up the route to the great volcanoes, from Vesuvius near Naples to Mount Etna in Sicily to Stromboli on the Aeolian Islands.
