As one of the most famous tangos tells us, Buenos Aires is the sovereign city. Its secret is probably that you can find anything you want in it: culture, architecture, art, music, a wild nightlife and a soul in which everything is reflected. It is indeed a fascinating city to discover. Buenos Aires is not only one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America, it is also a starting point for discovering what Argentina has to offer: from Patagonia’s amazing beauty in the austral south, to the Iguazu Falls in the tropical north through to the Andean Cordillera in the west. Buenos Aires qualifies as the most European city of South America, mostly because of a relatively recent immigration, mainly from Spain and Itay. But it is through the dreams and fantasies of the Argentine people that Buenos Aires, this magnificent southern hemisphere city, has found its own identity.
