Portuguese school in Salvador da Bahia: Diálogo

Situated only a few minutes' walk away from the city centre and the beach, Diálogo, which has been in existence for 15 years, was the first international school to be set up in Salvador. It offers a wide variety of courses (in groups or on a one-to-one basis) for students from throughout the world. The teachers are all native to Brazil and dedicate a good 50% of the course to practising the spoken language with the students. The school is modern and very well-equipped. All of the classrooms have air-conditioning, there is an audiovisual centre, a kitchen for Bahian cooking classes, a sports field and free access to the Internet for all students.

Residence
Situated 200 metres away from the Porto da Barra beach and only 5 minutes on foot away from the school, this comfortable residence will appeal to students who wish to have total independence. Staying in a single or double room, you will share the kitchen, TV lounge, the barbecue corner, the toilets and showers with the other residents. The booking of the room also includes breakfast, a free Internet connection as well as bedlinen and towels. A laundry room is also available for the use of the residents.

The school takes great care in introducing you to Brazilian culture. It offers a wide range of activities within the school (dance, music, gastronomy, etc.), in the city (concerts, guided visits to markets, cultural sites or parks) or at the beach (sunset parties, capoeira and water sports), as well as excursions to surrounding cities accompanied by local guides who will help you explore the region more thoroughly than ordinary tourists.
