Established in the historical centre of Odessa, our partner school is easily reached by public transport. It is located close to a green communal park and has modern and comfortable classrooms where the highly qualified teachers teach Russian to students from the four corners of the world. A reading room, study rooms and audio/video programmes are precious tools for improving learning. In a library, the students can stock up on books and films. Internet is available. If you wish to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the ctiy and apply your vocabulary freshly acquired during class, you will find museums, cafés and restaurants as well as numerous cinemas in the immediate surroundings.

Accommodation

Host family
You will be able to experience the legendary hospitality of the Ukrainians by staying with a host family, who live at a reasonable distance from the OLSC language school, in pleasant and safe areas. Staying in a single room, you will benefit from having half board and bedlinen provided. On request, personal laundry may be washed by the family for a modest additional cost. The contact with your host family will allow you to practise Russian in situations of everyday life and will allow you to progress quickly in the active understanding of the language.

Shared apartment
In the centre of Odessa, our partner school proposes apartments to be shared with other international students. You will have the use of a single room and will share the kitchen and bathroom with your flatmates. The owner of the apartment takes charge of washing laundry and cleaning the premises once a week.

Leisure

As the school is situated in the historical centre of the city, you will have the chance to explore Odessa at leisure and at your own pace. The city is a cultural centre and has surprises in store for you at every street corner. The atmosphere is relaxed, the large green spaces invite you to practise sports and the numerous shops in the heart of the city will attract shopping fans.
Our partner school proposes visits of the city and of the catacombs on foot in the company of the other international students.
At the weekend, you will also have the possibility to make a tour in the Danube Delta as well as participate in excursions organised in order to discover the towns and cities and regions of the surroundings of Odessa. In the summer, the course centre organises barbecues outside in the open air, with guaranteed atmosphere!
