School
Our partner school is located in Santiago de Chile, in a peaceful residential district called “Providencia”. It is easily reached by bus or train, and is close to all conveniences: restaurants, bars and shops. The school has 13 well-equipped classrooms as well as common rooms where you can relax and get to know the other students. There are no more than 6 students per class, making it an ideal learning environment. Accommodation
Host FamilyUpper middle class families are chosen with care by our partner school. Breakfast and dinner are provided daily and you can choose between either a single or double room. The “standard plus” option is also available if you would like to have your own bathroom and a greater level of comfort. During meals and other time spent with the family you will have the best opportunities to improve your language skills, in conjunction with your classes, in a friendly and natural environment.
Shared Apartments
If you would prefer the company of other international students, you can choose to stay in a student apartment. You will have your own bedroom, and share the kitchen and bathroom.
Leisure
The school organises two or three leisure activities per week, for free or at reduced rates. A visit to the neighbouring wine-growing region, and outings to the museums or to the many festivals in Santiago, will allow you to discover the culture and the local way of life. Weekend excursions will take you as far as the coast, where you can admire the Pacific Ocean as far as the horizon. In the east you have the Andes where skiing, rafting and all other mountain activities are available to you. Otherwise, you could go south to the fabulous National Park and explore the lakes, inlets and snow-capped volcanoes. Latin America is also synonymous with music, rhythm and dance. Of course, you will have the opportunity to learn to dance the salsa, and come nightfall you can show off your talent on the dance floors of Santiago!WiFi is free.
