Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a family in Santo Domingo is without doubt the best way to learn Spanish and to immerse yourself in the Dominican culture. All of the host families are chosen with care, the objective being that you can practise your Spanish in total confidence every day. Living around 15-30 minutes away from the language school building, you will stay in a single room with half board provided.

Shared apartment
You also have the possibility of staying around 5 minutes' walking distance away from the school, sharing with other students. The apartment has three bedrooms, two shared bathrooms and a balcony. A WiFi connection is also available in the apartment and you will be able to use the fully-equipped kitchen in order to prepare your meals or to try out new typical recipes with your new friends.

Leisure

Using your Spanish in a social or cultural context is a very good way to develop on the skills that you will acquire in class. This is why our partner school proposes activities and outings to students, some free or at reduced prices, both during the week and at weekends. These include: dance classes, tours of the city and its museums, nights at the movies, BBQs at the school or in Santo Domingo's bars, and excursions to the beaches of BocaChica, Las Terrenas or the magnificent Jarabacaoa waterfalls.
