You will learn Spanish in Santo Domingo’s “Zona Universitaria”. The school has 5 classrooms where you can study in a studious and relaxed atmosphere. During breaks, terraces and a pleasant garden welcome you. Our partner school being located just opposite the biggest university in the Dominicans (USAD), you will be able to use the library and have numerous opportunities to mix within the Dominican student lifestyle.

Accomodation

Host family
Staying with a host family in Santo Domingo is without doubt one of the best ways to learn Spanish and to immerse yourself in the Dominican culture. All the host families are chosen with care by our partner school so that you will feel at home, the object being to enable you to practise your Spanish daily and with confidence. Located about 30-40 minutes from the school, you will have your own room and breakfast and dinner provided daily.
Hotel-apartment "Residence City"
If you would like more independence, you can choose to stay in a hotel-apartment. The "Residence City" is located about 10 minutes from the school. You will have your own single, air-conditioned room with a TV, telephone and private bathroom. This type of accommodation does not include meals, but you will have access to an equipped kitchen.

Leisure

Using your Spanish in a social or cultural context is a very good way to develop on the skills that you will acquire in class. That's why our partner school offers students the chance to participate in activities and outings, some free or at reduced prices, both during the week and on weekends. These include: dance classes, tours of the city and its museums, nights at the movies, BBQs at the school or in Santo Domingo's bars, and excursions to the beaches of BocaChica, Las Terrenas or the magnificent Jarabacaoa Falls.
