Our partner language school is a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, right next to the sunny beaches of Montañita! In this beautiful setting, you will benefit from high quality Spanish courses in a stimulating international environment, with other students from the whole world. And to make learning Spanish a pleasurable experience, qualified and dedicated teachers will propose lively and interactive methods, which combine grammar and conversation. Along with the Spanish lessons, you can also choose from thematic options offered by the school, such as yoga, salsa, kite surfing or scuba diving… You are spoilt with choice! Bungalow
In your thatched-roofed cabaña, entirely made with sustainable materials, you will live like a real Ecuadorian! Located in a quiet area, outside the city, these spacious bungalows will offer you comfort and well-being only 5 minutes from the school, the town centre and the beach. Well-ventilated and equipped with a private bathroom, a comfortable bed and a hammock, cabañas can host one or two students travelling together. You will meet the inhabitants of the other bungalows in the large common area with kitchen to prepare meals and refreshing drinks. Then, just lie down by the pool to take the sun! A pure moment of relaxation...
 
The school also has a few bungalows with private kitchenettes, which are particularly suitable for people travelling as a couple.
 
Host family
Staying with a host family is undoubtedly the best way of immersing yourself totally into Ecuadorian culture! You will have direct contact with this welcoming population and experience the Ecuadorian tranquil lifestyle while practising Spanish in a friendly atmosphere. The school selects its host families with care in order to offer you an unforgettable experience in a family involved in the community of Montañita. You will receive half board accommodation and stay in a single room.
Please note that most of the host families live in the little village of Montañitaand often come from a modest background. As a consequence, the level of comfort is inferior to western standards and the facilities are often basic. But there is no doubt that the generosity of the inhabitants of this sunny town will make these worldly considerations secondary! 

On the heavenly beaches of Montañita, watersports are a must! If you are a beginner, it is an opportunity to have a go at surfing, kitesurfing, or scuba diving. You should also take advantage of your language trip to Ecuador to explore the famous Galapagos Islands! The school organises many cruises to go there at a very attractive price. In 3, 4 or 8 days, you will visit the archipelago and discover the treasures of its fauna and flora with volcanoes in the background. The view is simply spectacular! A few kilometres away from Montañita, the craggy rocks of the beautiful Isla Del Plata, generally called “the poor man’s Galapagos”, also offer an exceptional natural diversity. And if you are interested in history, you can also visit the little town of Agua Blanca to admire Pre-Colombian vestiges. Be ready for an amazing adventure in a country stretching out between volcanic islands and the Pacific Ocean...
