Language school Bocas del Toro, Spanish By the Sea

Our partner school is situated in the centre of Bocas del Toro, 15 minutes' walking distance away from the airport and also very close to the sea. The language school building has its premises in a pretty house with a garden. The 10 classrooms are spread out throughout the building and generally welcome mini-groups of around 3-4 students, which allows students to make rapid progress. A computer is available to students in order to access the Internet (paying) but the WiFi connection in the school is free if you use your own laptop. A student lounge allows you to meet other students during breaks or after your Spanish classes. Nearby, you will easily find Internet cafés, shops, supermarkets and restaurants for going out with your friends.

Host family
Our partner school proposes "Bed and Breakfast" with a local family, situated around 15 minutes away from the course centre. You will have a single room with breakfast included. A certain flexibility will be necessary in order that you stay is a success. Most of the inhabitants of Bocas have their bathroom outside of the house, and water shortages and electricity power cuts may occur at one time or another. Nevertheless, the local hospitality and the discovery of the Caribbean lifestyle and of its welcoming and open inhabitants will soon make you forget these inconveniences.

Residence
You also have the possibility of staying on the same site as the school, in a shared room (or single, depending on availability). You will share the common areas with the other residents, including the kitchen for preparing your meals, the TV lounge, the showers and bathrooms, the balcony with hammocks, ideal for relaxing...A certain flexibility will be necessary in order that your language study trip is successful. Effectively, power cuts or water shortages occur sometimes. Be that as it may, the warm atmosphere of the school and the legendary hospitality of the Panamians will allow you to overcome these inconveniences without any problem.
