Language school Manu, In partnership with Cusco

Our partner school Don Quijote in Cusco offers students a unique week-long experience at the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, on the banks of the Madre de Dios river. Spanish lessons take place in a bungalow which serves as a classroom. Conversation classes are specially adapted to the extraordinary environment which surrounds you. Knowledge of the forest, biology and ecology form an integral part of the programme. Living and learning Spanish in this unique setting is sure to be an exceptional experience.

Charming wooden lodges welcome you for the night. A bungalow houses the toilets and showers that you will share with your study and adventure companions. Meals are shared with your accompanying teachers. There is of course no electricity so the warm glow of candles and lanterns will light up magical and unforgettable evenings.

You are in the largest tropical forest on the planet, so the guides and teachers from our partner school will help you to discover and observe this vast, dense and sometimes impenetrable world. You can bathe in thermal springs in the shade of giant trees (some more than 40 metres tall), practise ornithology or go for nocturnal walks to a concert of squawks, whistles, songs... the immense polyphony of life. Perhaps you will have the opportunity to discover an abandoned trail, leading to one of the lost cities which have inspired so many explorers.
