Our partner school is located in the centre of Cadiz and relies on experienced and highly qualified teachers to offer effective Spanish courses. Housed in a modern building in the Bahía Blanca district, one of the most beautiful in town, it has 8 air-conditioned classrooms fitted with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and interactive whiteboards. There is a multimedia library where international students can do some research outside the classroom and a study room for self-study. If you want to have a bite, snacks and drinks machines are available and you will find various cafés and bars with terraces close to the school. The Wi-Fi connection can be accessed free of charge throughout the building. The beach and the town centre are only steps from here – ideal to recharge your batteries and discover Cadiz, this living monument, and its beautiful coastline!

Accommodation

Host family
Famous for their warm welcome, the Spanish families who host international students in Cadiz all live close enough to the course centre for you to walk to the school. The managers of our partner school know them well and visit them on a regular basis to maintain a high level of service. You will stay in a single room and receive half board accommodation. Once a week, you will be able to use the washing machine to do your personal laundry. The room is cleaned and the sheets are changed every week.

Shared apartment
Students wishing to be more independent can choose to share an apartment in town with other students or with inhabitants of Cadiz. This option is economical and convenient if you wish to become attuned to the Andalusian way of life at your own pace. You will either stay in a single or a double room (only available for students travelling together) and will be responsible for buying and cooking your own food in the common kitchen. The shared rooms and flat equipment can be used by all of the flatmates. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided.

Leisure

Our partner school offers a varied leisure programme that will allow you to discover the richness and special charm of the town that you are visiting. On the first day, a city tour guided by a teacher will be your first introduction to the city. Other evenings will be dedicated to presentations and debates about Spanish movies, local cuisine and famous Andalusian people. Flamenco shows and specifically Iberian celebrations are also on the schedule. As regards sports, basketball matches between students, teachers and Cadiz inhabitants will be organised. On Saturdays, a cruise to Morocco will give you the opportunity to do some shopping in the Tangier’s Medina and then eat in a Moroccan restaurant downtown. And on Sundays, just let your sense of discovery go wild and explore Cadiz, which is considered as the most ancient town in the Western world and offers countless cultural treasures and historical monuments, as well as many bars, friendly restaurants and picturesque shops.
