School

Situated beside the Plaza Mayor and only 5 minutes away from the Puerta del Sol, the Babylon Idiomas school couldn’t be more at the heart of the Spanish capital than it already is. Consisting of 6 comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms, the language school building also has a cinema room and a library where you can borrow books and DVDs, and a computer room with free Internet access (also WiFi). There is also a kitchen where most activities take place. During your free time, you can use the lounge where you can enjoy a drink whilst getting to know other students.

DELE (Intermedio & Superior) Exam preparation

Accommodation

Host family
Going to Spain to learn Spanish means also wanting to understand the language and the culture of the country. This is why the best option is to stay with a host family, with whom you can experience the rhythm of life in Madrid. Situated around 30 minute  away from the language school building by public transport, the families are chosen with care by our partner school. You will have your own room in the house and will be able to choose between breakfast only or half-board. Bedclothes and towels are provided and you will be given your own house keys so that you can be totally independant.

Shared apartments
For those who are looking for a type of accommodation with the possibility of meeting other students, our partner school proposes accommodation in a shared apartment, staying in a single or double room (bedclothes provided). You will share common areas on a daily basis with your flatmates. Situated around 30 minutes away from the school by public transport, these apartments, for which you will have your own keys, offer you an ideal living environment  for a stay in the capital.

Leisure

Within the language school itself, everything is on hand to allow you to familiarise yourself with Spanish culture. Every Tuesday, there are free lectures to allow you to discover different aspects of this culture, like its history, its cuisine, its traditions…For relaxation, our partner school plays an important role, with, for example, « happy miercoles » (night-out to a bar every Wednesday) and Spanish cinema and popcorn on Thursdays. Everything you need to get to know the team and the other students ! Add to this the international meals where everyone brings a speciality from their own country and the city visits and you can rest assured that you will not get bored. At the weekend, visit Madrid and its region, from the famous El Prado museum or that of Queen Sofia and the Puerta de Alcalá to Segovia, Toledo and many other marvels…
