My experience in Madrid that ESL recommended exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I learn enough Spanish in 3 weeks to feel comfortable getting around the city on my own, but I also had fun doing it. The class was small and all the students were very well matched by their levels of knowledge. Each day was split into 2 sessions with different teachers who complemented each other very well. I could tell that they really cared about us being able to learn practical things we could use right away, rather than spending too much time on theory. They offered a good mix of games, conversations and exercises that made the day go by really quickly.

Madrid is a fantastic city. You never get bored there. The Babylon school is located right in the town centre and is very well managed and organised. The teachers are very motivated. In 8 weeks, I could reach an intermediate level, even though I had no knowledge of Spanish when I arrived. The school welcomes students from all over the world, so you can make friends very easily and practise the language whilst studying it. I recommend this experience to everyone.
