School

Our partner school is situated in an elegant part of East Malaga. It is a peaceful haven, away from the noise and bustle of the city centre, where you will find the tranquillity necessary to study in the best conditions: large, well-equipped classrooms, qualified teachers and cool shade beneath the lemon trees, the palms and the rubber trees, where you can revise your Spanish lessons or talk with your new friends. Just nearby, you will find boutiques, banks, a pharmacy, restaurants and bars. The centre of Malaga is 12 minutes away by bus, the bus stop being located just opposite the school’s entrance. After an intense day of classes, you can take a relaxing dip in the school’s swimming pool or head for the beach just 100 metres away, where you will find plenty of sunshine and parties!

Optional free cultural courses
In addition to Spanish courses, Don Quijote offers additional daily courses on cultural subjects. These courses give you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Spanish culture, customs and traditions, along with general tips to enhance your Spanish language studies.

Accommodation

Host Family
Staying with a host family in Malaga is without doubt one of the best ways to learn Spanish and to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Andalusia. Our partner school chooses all its host families with care, so that you will feel at home and be able to practise your Spanish in a comfortable environment. You will stay in a single or double room and two meals are provided daily.
Shared Apartments
A very popular form of accommodation, this option allows you to live with four or five other international students from the school. You will have your own room and share the kitchen, lounge room and bathrooms. A television and washing machine are also provided. A housekeeper will come once per week to clean the common areas.

Leisure

Malaga “Si!” arranges numerous extracurricular activities each week, such as flamenco, dance, guitar or golf lessons (golf is a very popular sport in Andalusia). Our partner school also organises guided tours of the city centre (Alcazaba, the Archaeological Museum, the Roman theatre, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Church of Santiago, etc…) for those who like old buildings and beautiful artworks. Devote your weekends to excursions exploring Granada, Cordoba, Seville or Jaen, and you will have plenty of choice for partying Andaluse-style!
