Wellington is quite simply the most southerly positioned capital of our planet. At the junction of the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean, Wellington is very well located at the entrance of Cook Strait at the southern extreme of the North Island.

This city, founded in 1840, enjoys an exceptional location on the majestic and well sheltered bay of Port Nicholson. At the antipodes of Madrid, Wellington’s climate is pleasant and temperate.
