We have an exclusive relationship with our partner school in Berlin for this programme combining German classes with an unpaid internship placement. As the work market in German is difficult, the number of companies wishing to welcome foreign interns is limited. This explains why the internship conditions are strict and the candidates are accepted on their file. The interns, aged from 18 to 30 years, will carry out a standard or intensive German course of a minimum duration of 8 weeks prior to the start of the internship. The minimum internship duration is 12 weeks. Before the beginning of your professional experience, you need to have reached a sufficient German level in order to  be able to communicate whilst being at ease in a professional environment. A good intermediate level will allow you to apply for the programme, whilst an upper intermediate level (B2-C1, level 7, see table) assures you the obtaining of an internship following your course period.
The domains for carrying out an internship are varied and for this reason, it is necessary to communicate 3 centres of interest for the different sectors of activity to us in order to guarantee the internship placement. We ask you to please prepare a CV and cover letter in German, as well as to send us a copy of your eventual work references or letters of recommendation at the same time as your enrolment form.
We recommend to you to avoid the period of July and August because the internship opportunities are more restricted.
