Language school Dublin, International House (IH)

International House Dublin boasts a central location in the Village Quarter district. St Stephen’s Green, a Victorian park of 11 hectares, is only a few minutes’ walk away. The area also has a hidden jewel, a lesser known garden called Iveagh Garden, where students often go for lunch. The school has 10 classrooms (20 additional classrooms used during the high season, located 10 minutes away), a student lounge, individual study areas and a computer room with free Internet access. In order to relax after classes, you can meet up with your new friends in the garden or on the school's terrace.

Host family
The Irish are renowned for their sense of hospitality. Living with then will allow you to make rapid progress in English and to familiarise yourself with the local culture. The families are mostly situated in the south part of Dublin, just like the school. They live in residential areas, often in houses with gardens. The students stay in single rooms with half board provided.
 
Shared apartments Mercer Court
Located in the heart of Dublin, only a seven minutes’ walk away from the school, the Mercer Court Apartments are surrounded by the best theatres, museums, restaurants and bars of the city. It is a first-class location for these very comfortable apartments, which consist of four individual bedrooms, a private bathroom, a large living room and a well-equipped kitchen. There, you will be able to have lively discussions and cook meals with your flatmates. Each room has a television, internet access and a telephone receiving incoming calls. Bedlinen are provided but you need to bring your own bath towels. A laundry room is also at your disposal.

Residence "Charleston Road Apartments"
The residence proposed by our partner school is located to the south of Dublin city, in a district which is very popular with students. It will only take you 7 minutes by tram or 20 minutes by foot to reach the course centre and the heart of the city. The bedrooms are situated in a ravishing 19th century building which has been entirely renovated. The single or double bedrooms (in which case the booking must be made for the two people at the same time) all have a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a corner lounge with television. A very pleasant garden is situated behind the building and there are parking spaces for cars and bicycles. Bedlinen is provided, but not bath towels. The bedrooms are only cleaned when the residents leave. There is free Internet access via WiFi throughout the building. You will have access to a free laundry room.
