School

Situated in the heart of the business district of Melbourne and opposite the Charles Sturt University, our partner school shares its campus with Taylor’s College. Thanks to this partnership, it uses the latest technologies and guarantees the best teaching possible to the students. Close to the course centre, you will find various restaurants, cafés and shops as well as access to public transport. Inside the school, you will find comfortable and bright classrooms, a language centre and a computer lab which will contribute to facilitating the acquisition of English. Interactives screens replace the usual blackboards. A relaxation area will allow you to relax between classes and to meet the other students for discussions and exchanges there. Internet can be accessed for free (weekly limit) through WiFi throughout the course centre. There is also a library and a bookshop on the campus.

Courses

Semester, academic year

The Language Year programme is designed especially for students who wish to follow a progressive academic course of study over 6 or 9 months. Based on continuity, this programme allows for structured, efficient language training and is therefore suitable for anyone wishing to study in an intensive way. It also involves more homework, giving you the opportunity to improve your skills according to your needs and to make fast progress. From level upper intermediate and upwards, it is possible to take a Cambridge course during the last trimester.

The programme is divided into 11-week terms, interrupted by 1-, 2- or 4-week breaks (holidays)*. Thus, the academic semester programme includes 22 weeks of courses (2 x 11) with a 1-, 2- or 4-week break (holidays)*. In the same way, the academic year includes 33 weeks of courses (3 x 11), with a 2-, 3- or 5-week break (holidays)*, depending on the time of year.

You can start a semester or an academic year with the trimester that matches your level. For instance, an intermediate student with a B1 level can complete a semester by enrolling in trimesters 2 and 3.

The prices include accommodation for the whole duration of your stay, breaks included (holidays)*. The courses consist of a total of 28 lessons per week, including 20 lessons of general English followed by 8 lessons related to 2 thematic courses out of several to choose from (at a rate of 4 lessons for each course)
