School

The English capital is a mixture of all imaginable cultures. You will find people from working class backgrounds, the underground movement and the Establishment living side by side under the watchful eye of the Crown.
Due to the enormity of the city, London has the largest underground rail network in the world, but if you would prefer to stay out in the fresh air, you can choose to travel by double-decker bus. Always buzzing with activity, London will introduce you in the latest clothing and music trends, and promises you a visit full of energy and vitality.

Close to famous Oxford Street and the Bond Street and Baker Street tube stations, our partner school has all the modern facilities you need to make progress in English. Apart from the 24 bright and spacious classrooms (35 during the high season), students have access to a resource centre with a library, audio and CD-rom material, a computer room with flat-screen computers where they can access the Internet and make use of computerised language-learning methods. The school also has a WiFi network. There is a study centre where students can take university-type courses in Business, Computers, Hotel Management and Tourism, as well as a Job Club.

Courses

Trimester, semester, academic year
Our partner school, BSC, offers a study programme which is ideal for long-term stays. You will be able to acquire sound language skills and validate them thanks to an official exam (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEIC). If your objective is to obtain an everyday command of English and to have a deep understanding of the mentality and lifestyle of the Londoners, what better way than finding a job! BSC proposes a specific service: the "job club" which facilitates the access to information concerning student jobs. In this way, the school becomes a favourable platform for all those who wish to find a part-time job during their studies. The job club gives appointments to interested students for information on potential employers (bars, hotels, promotional work, boutiques, etc.) and informs the participants on the laws and modalities in force. Free of charge, the job club also offers a complementary personalised service for correcting/adapting students' CVs.

Accommodation

Host family
Host families, which have been carefully selected by our partner school, generally live around 45-60 minutes away from the school and offer a natural and stimulating environment for practising the language. Students stay in a single room and have half board provided, which is an interesting option considering that it allows you to account for meals for the whole of your stay.

Student house (from 18 years)
This option allows several students from the school to share accommodation during their stay. Each student has his/her own room and shares the common rooms and equipment (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) with the other students. The student houses are located in zone 3 of London, around 40 minutes away from the language school building.

Leisure

London overflows with leisure possibilities, especially from a cultural point of view. There are a large variety of monuments, museums, galleries and shows on offer, the most classic mixing with the most extravagant. Sports lovers will also have plenty to keep them busy in the numerous sports centres found in town and in the suburbs. The school organises activities and outings of the sort that will create a dynamic group atmosphere outside of the classroom, thereby allowing students to practise their English in an authentic context.

Testimonial

I group leader ESL vi accompagnano con la loro esperienza! Federico Mercurio Having an experience like mine allows you to learn English in an incredible atmosphere. First of all, London is a really huge and cosmopolitan city where you can have anything you want at any time! This city offers a lot of attractions like museums, art galleries, nightclubs and of course, for those who are "shopaholics", a lot of shopping streets. Secondly, the school is in the centre of London, about 5 minutes by foot from the tube station. It's where you spend a lot of time and it's where you meet people from everywhere and create good friendships with them.
