School

Our partner school, EC Brighton, is located only two minutes' walk away from the famous "Brighton Pier", right beside the Royal Pavilion, the famous Lanes and all the restaurants, bars and clubs which give the city its reputation. The course centre is bright, modern and spacious, with 33 classrooms, common areas, a library, a study room and sections with computers available. Internet is available throughout the building via WiFi. The building has been completely renovated and offers ideal conditions for studying. The learning of English is focused on communication. The classes allow for an exchange between the students from throughout the world and the highly qualified teachers, specialised in the teaching of English to foreigners. Established since 1982, the school warmly welcomes students and allows them to discover a lively and dynamic city whose main attractions are located on its doorstep!

Accommodation

Host family
Living with a host family is the most attractive accommodation option on many levels. On the one hand, students benefit from the ideal setting for practising the language and immersing themselves in the English culture, and on the other hand, financially this option allows you to account for your meals for the entire length of your stay. You can choose between a single or double room. In a double room, you will be placed with another student of a different nationality.  The families are situated around 20 to 45 minutes by bus  from the school.
Please note: students of 16-17 years are obliged to stay in a single room.

Residences (from 18 years, recommended 18-25 years)
For those who wish to be more independent and to have the possibility to meet other international students, our partner school proposes staying in a residence, in a single or double room whilst having the use of a shared bathroom, kitchenette and lounge, as well as the necessary equipment for doing their laundry. The "Seafront" residence offers more comfort. As it is a very popular accommodation option, it is essential to book in advance, especially for the months of July and August. In order to deal with the large number of students during the summer, the school has two other residences at its disposal.

Leisure

After classes, it's time for sport, culture and fun! Ideal for meeting other international students and for forging new friendships, the activities programme of the EC school puts great emphasis on entertainment, including shopping trips in the Lanes, salsa classes, football in the afternoon, a pub crawl on a night out and trips to Windsor, Eton, Stonehenge, London or Oxford at the weekend...you won't have time to get bored! These are also excellent opportunities to practise your English with your friends outside of classes.

Testimonial

I group leader ESL vi accompagnano con la loro esperienza! Philippe Pugin I chose England and Brighton because I had heard a lot about the nightlife and it is without any doubt one of the best cities. The EC school was recommended to me by ESL and some friends. The classes and the teachers are good. My host family was fantastic! I met several people and I liked the time I spent here. It had been a long time since I had gone to school, but it is one of the best human experiences of my life!
