School

Only a stone's throw away from Liverpool's dynamic city centre, our partner school welcomes you in a magnificent Georgian-style building. The school is served well by public transport which gives you privileged access to everything Liverpool has to offer, including sport, music, culture and surrounding landscapes. There are more art galleries, museums, parks and listed buildings here than in any other UK city outside of London. LSE is a large independent school which, like the city of Liverpool, is proud of its welcoming atmosphere where one quickly makes friends and feels at home. On leaving one of the 18 classrooms, take the time to get to know the other students in the adjacent garden. You can also attend any of the free support classes which include conversation class, reading group, job club and study club and revise the material covered in class in the study room or to communicate with your close ones by Internet, available in the three multimedia suites and in the common room. In order to get to know even more students, take a step into the university district of Liverpool. A place overflowing with life, filled with bars, cafes, restaurants, theatres and shops and people from all walks of life, giving you many opportunities to speak English at complete ease. During the months of July and August, some classes are also given in the classrooms of John Moores University, only 5 minutes away from the course centre.

Testimonial

Siza Hoek I chose to study in Liverpool because it seemed like a nice city with loads of culture and activities for students. I liked the size of the school, it is not too big so you are not just a number. The location of the school is perfect, close to the city centre and the accommodation. I liked the nightlife and the cultural activities organized by the school. All of the students are really friendly and you are never alone. I would recommend the school because of all of the above.
