Our partner school has its premises in a beautiful 19th century building. The school has 7 spacious and birght classrooms, a cafeteria, and a WiFi connection to enable you to access your emails and surf the Internet for free. The multimedia centre is available for you to study independently. Just a stone's throw away from the Place Bellecour, right after your classes, you will be able to enjoy the youthful and festive atmosphere of the numerous cafés and restaurants of the district, favourite meeting places for Lyon's student population.

Host family
Being immersed in the culture of a country is without doubt one of the best ways to learn the language. Living with a host family means getting to know the way of life of the people of Lyon from the inside, their customs, culinary habits and having an enriching experience. It's also the chance to practise French daily in an authentic context. The families are carefully selected by our partner school. Living around 10-40 minutes away from the school, you will stay in a double or single room with breakfast only or half board provided.

Shared apartment “Le Loft” (from 18 years)
Our partner school also proposes the option of shared accommodation, in a loft-style apartment. The loft, which is 5 minutes away from the main train station Part-Dieu, with a surface area of 200m2 on the top floor of a small apartment block, has 4 double rooms and 3 bathrooms and an open, equipped kitchen, with a balcony overhanging it, which opens out into a large living room. In addition, the loft is equipped with a WiFi network and a washing machine. It will take you around 20 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by public transport to reach the school and the centre of Old Lyon.

It's impossible to get bored in Lyon! With shops, cinemas, exhibitions, concerts, sports centres, bars, restaurants, nightclubs… so many possibilities for going out with friends, strolling around the city or partying. This rich variety means that there is something to suit all tastes and budgets. Those who love old buildings will be delighted by the 2000 year-old history of Lugdunum, the Roman name for Lyon, and food lovers will be spoilt for choice. The hinterland and the countryside surrounding Lyon are worth visiting. Enjoy the walks, take a bike ride or taste the latest wines from the Beaujolais region. Its closeness to the Mediterranean, Paris and Geneva makes Lyon an ideal destination for studying French, and you will no doubt be seduced by its beauty, rich culture and festive atmosphere.

The school is small but has everything you need. The teachers were like friends, friendly and funny and always available if we needed help or advice. The school is located in the heart of the city and well-served by public transport. Lyon is a beautiful town. It is crossed by two rivers, which creates an amazing atmosphere. At night, the city is even more attractive as the two rivers are illuminated. It is a young city and it is not too big so you can get around it quite easily with public transport. You can enjoy every area of the city, especially the historical part, the “Vieux Lyon”. I can only recommend this destination to everyone! I really had a great time there and in the end, I didn’t want to go back home. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
