Our partner school is situated in Christchurch city centre, near Cathedral Square and close to numerous cafés, restaurants, shops and libraries, as well as several bus lines. If you wish to take part in sports activities, you will find a large gym, Centennial Leisure Centre, near the school. Kaplan International Colleges is a school which has been established since 1979 (the first language school in Christchurch an art deco style building. The language school building is situated 7 minutes away from the bus stop and has 14 spacious and bright classrooms, a study centre, a multimedia and IT centre, a library and a student lounge with a kitchen.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is a very enriching experience, both from a linguistic and personal point of view. You will have a single room as well as half board provided (full board at weekends). All of the host families are carefully selected by our partner school and are located between 20 and 45 minutes from the school by bus.

Shared apartment/Studio "Living Space" (from 18 years)
In order to live only a few minutes away from the school, you have the option of staying in the residence "Living Space". This offers apartments in single rooms with a bathroom or in individual studios (fee supplement). The students staying here share the common facilities, such as the equipped kitchens, the lounges and the computer room. The building is also equipped with a café, a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor, two cinema rooms and a WiFi connection.

Christchurch is the dream point of departure for a multitude of leisure activities and excursions. Our partner school, Kaplan International Colleges, will help you to organise your free time and will propose numerous activities to you, including horse-riding, traditional meals, cultural visits, water activities in the summer and ski sports in winter...whatever the season, you will always have something to do!
