In Cape Town, in South Africa, take advantage of your stay to get involved in the community through football, an international language!
From January 2010, if you take a standard English course (20 lessons per week) in the EC language school in Cape Town, you can carry out an internship as an organiser of football matches by dedicating your afternoons to the children of the townships. They will be fully motivated . because the best teams in the world will soon come for memorable matches there! And for you, it is an excellent opportunity to practise English in a totally relaxed way and to get involved in a useful project.
The training sessions last from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays, it's time for friendly matches between teams (transport assured). You will also participate in an awareness programme concerning the football World Cup, its implication on the host country and the events in relation to the World Cup in South Africa.
Maximum duration : 10 weeks
Participation fees:
2 weeks: EUR 350
3 weeks: EUR 400
4 weeks: EUR 450
5 weeks: EUR 500
Additional week: EUR 50
