The school welcomes you in a magnificent historical house dating back from the 17th century. The course centre is very well equipped and has, among others, a covered swimming pool as well as football, badminton, beach volley, mini tennis and mini foot playing fields. Ping-pong tables, a petanque lane, a multisport hall and a climbing wall complete the offer as regards the facilities provided by the school. The classrooms are large and modern. In a multimedia room, 12 computers connected to the Internet are available to students. Two large multi-purpose rooms can be used for multimedia projections.

Schedule: 9.30 a.m.-12.45 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.-3.30 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoons)

There will be a maximum of 9 students per class. The students are divided into groups according to their level so that they can benefit from the effective teaching method. Since the courses are based on an innovative method aiming at learning the language through dialogue. This system is called « QRI » (Question-Answer-Modulation) and consists in reproducing phonetic sounds accurately, which allows for an immediate reinforcement of the acquired knowledge. The participants are divided into three groups: Benjas (9-12 years), Ados (13-15 years) and Seniors (16-17 years) and therefore benefit from courses specially adapted to their age range. Supervised by competent and motivated teachers, the young students learn English with the help of « fun » elements and activities communication. The verbo-tonal interaction is considered as an efficient way of learning the language. For Ados and Seniors programmes, it is possible to complete the course with private lessons (2 to 8 hours per week). Efficient and fun classes: success guaranteed!

Accommodation

Residence
The residence offers a large number of single rooms and a few double and triple rooms, which are all equipped with a sink. The common showers are located in the corridors. Bedlinen is provided, but you need to bring your own bath towels. During the night, a team of activity leaders and a night supervisor ensure the well being of all students. Divided into language sectors, students learn Dutch, French or English in groups and take their meals separately in the restaurants of the centre. The food is balanced and varied and the groups of students are supervised throughout the day by the school staff speaking their target language. Water fountains and coin-operated vending machines are at your disposal.

Leisure

In addition to the language course (group lessons, workshops and optional private lessons), the activity leaders offer a wide variety of recreational activities every day, on site and outside the course centre. All of these activities are conducted in English and are included in the learning programme. You can choose from various sports (the offer may vary according to the period and the target language): mountain biking, tennis, football, badminton, hockey, aerobics, ping pong, volley ball, fitness, basketball, horse riding, swimming, water-polo, aquafit, squash, athletics, handball, baseball, kayaking or canoeing… The centre also gives you an opportunity to take part in artistic activities, for instance, stage improvisation, drawing, T-shirt painting or masks or jewellery making. The end of the week is generally dedicated to fun and culture in your target language. In addition to visits to amusement parks or waterparks, excursions will allow you to discover the cultural treasures of cities like Cologne in Germany, Brussels, Liege, Namur or else Antwerp.
