Our partner school welcomes you on the campus of the National University of Ireland, one of the most beautiful in the country, located only a few minutes away from the city centre. Discover Ireland and learn English in an authentic setting! Situated beside the sea, Galway is an ideal city for spending a study holiday. The school, which is very friendly, takes great care of its students. It offers them a unique experience, consisting of courses of excellent quality and varied activities. The 24 weekly lessons of 45 minutes take place in the morning. Two afternoons per week are also dedicated to studying English. In other words, you are going to make progress! The teaching is given by motivated teachers who are used to communicating their native language to young students. The students are split up into different classes according to their level, with each class having a maximum of 15 students. In addition to the English language, you will have the opportunity to discover Irish history and culture, which will not fail to fascinate you!

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is an unforgettable experience, as it will allow you to share the daily life of an Irish family and to discover their daily habits. In order to get to the school, you will take the bus and will need to allow for around 30 minutes' journey time. Full board (breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal) is provided. Students stay in a double or triple room, with students of another mother tongue. Sharing a bedroom with a brother, sister or friend is also possible on request.
Please note: this type of accommodation is best suited to independent students who will be able to get to the school on their own using public transport.

Residence
The young students also have the possibility of staying in a modern and comfortable residential complex. Located around 20 minutes' walking distance away from the course centre, the residence houses apartments which can each accommodate up to 7 residents in a double or single room. A cleaning service of the bedrooms and bathrooms is assured regularly, The accommodation option includes full board. All of the meals are served in the school's canteen, except in the case of a full-day excursion where a packed lunch will be given. The students' safety is constantly assured by the presence of the camp monitors on-site.

Leisure

Two afternoons per week, the teachers of Atlantic Language Galway organise and supervise group activities. Included in the programme, you will find sports of course (tennis or football tournament) but also cultural workshops (dancing, painting or music for example), a visit to the city or a boat trip on the River Corrib. In the evening, it's party time! Discos, treasure hunts, themed evenings, Irish dancing or music...these enjoyable moments organised by the school are perfect for you to enjoy yourself and to speak English with your new friends! Finally, your weekends are also well filled, every week, a full-day excursion  is organised on Saturday, to places such as the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara and Bunratty Castle for example. You will also be able to take part in an optional activity (as a supplement, at a reasonable price). Finally, one afternoon and Sundays are free and you willbe able to make the most out of the time with your new friends, unless you would prefer to revise your English classes! Have a great time!
