Language school Warminster, Junior programme (12-17 years)

Housed in a magnificent classical style building, our partner school offers a prestigious setting for learning English. One of the great strengths of this establishment is the wide choice of sports and extra activities, proposed in parallel with the study programme. With its own tennis courts, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a gymnasium and more than 20 acres of fields for extra-curricular activities, the school proposes from 1 to 5 weeks of English classes associated with sports, artistic or academic options. Everything is organised in such away as to offer you superior quality teaching. The mornings are dedicated to learning English in class, thanks to highly qualified teachers, whilst the afternoons are the opportunity to practise the language during activities. Whether you choose a multi-activities programme, football, tennis, golf, horse riding, art & design, complementary studies in summer or the brand new "media and film" programme. you will be supervised by specialised and enthusiastic staff members.

Residence
The accommodation of students of 13 years or more is in a residence in bedrooms of 1, 2 or 3 people. The youngest sleep in bedrooms with a small group. The bathrooms are to be shared by students. The well-being and health of the students is overseen on a 24-hour basis, by qualified House Parents, who are always ready to listen and help.

Following the English courses, 4 afternoons per week allow you to practise various sports, artistic activities or intensive studies. Supervision is assured by experienced group leaders and the specific classes are given by qualified teachers and trainers. No less than 7 exciting activities programmes await you : choose the one that suits you best! Wednesday afternoons and weekends will be dedicated to excursions organised and supervised by the school staff: London, Stonehenge, Thorpe Park, etc… In Warminster, you will not have time to get bored in company of your new international friends !

Multi-activities programme
Make the most of the summer in order to practise a different activity every afternoon, with a choice of football, tennis, floor hockey, basketball, badminton, volleyball, swimming, art and DIY. Try a bit of everything and enjoy yourself...you will have an unforgettable language learning holiday!

Specific sports programmes
Do you love sport? Then these programmes are made for you! After your morning English classes, dedicate 4 afternoons to your favourite sport. With a choice of football, tennis, golf or horse riding, choose the activity  that you like most! Improve your techniques with qualified trainers and teachers and give off your best!

Football
Learn the winning dribble! Get involved as a striker and pass the ball to your team mates when they are in a better position than you! In the country which saw the birth of this sport, become a football ace!

Tennis
Even if you won’t qualify to take part in the Wimbledon tournament, you will receive effective tennis training on the courts that are located on the campus itself. This will help you improve your serve and win the most matches possible. Game, set and match!

Golf
Very popular in England, golf is learned there at an early age. You will benefit from the teachers’ experience in teaching to teenagers and make quick progress. Grip, drive, getting out of a bunker and put – golf will fascinate you!

Horse riding
for those who find their pleasure on horsebacks, this is an opportunity to take advantage of the on-site facilities and spend unforgettable moments in the company of patient but thoroughbred horses ! Between the trot and the gallop, the afternoons will go by way too quickly!

Artistic programmes
Are you passionate about art? This programme will meet all of your expectations!
You have the choice between the « Performing arts » or the « Art & design » programmes to give free rein to your inspiration! With qualified teachers, discover the secrets of bodily or pictorial expression and give your talent a voice!

Performing arts
Under the name « Performing arts », the extracurricular activities proposed as part of this programme will allow you to gain in confidence, experience real team work and learn new techniques. Acting, dance, music, costume making and make-up for the stage will show you all of the facets of artistic life.

"Art & Design"
The « Art&Design » option will allow you to learn the art of painting and various techniques. It is also the opportunity to talk about art and exchange points of view with students of various nationalities, but also to visit local galleries!

Intensive study programmes-summer studies
This option is ideal for those who wish to get familiar with the British academic system. Work on subjects such as science, computers, maths, geography or art, for example, through English. After these extra classes, let off steam and go to join your friends for the multi-activities programme.
