Language school St. Julians, Junior programme - Autumn (13-17 years)

Our partner school is one of the longest established schools on the island and guarantees great quality English teaching, especially designed for native speakers of foreign languages. The school is located on the north-east coast of the island of Malta, in the centre of St Julians. In a small group, with the other international students, you will work in air-conditioned, bright and comfortable classrooms. The highly motivated teachers accompany you on your way to progress in English. Every week, after classes, the school organises sports, recreational and cultural activities and one full-day excursion. In order that you can make the most of your stay in optimal conditions, as soon as you arrive, the teaching team and the activities coordinators will introduce themselves and will be there to accompany you during your stay.

Host family
Host family accommodation allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of the inhabitants of Malta and to practise your English regularly. You will share a bedroom with other students of another native language (if possible) or with a freind. The families are located in the region of St. Julians or in Sliema and offer you half board. From Monday to Friday, the school gives you a picnic for your lunches. When you go on an excursion during the weekend, the host family gives you a packed lunch to take with you.

Private bus service
Each morning, an EC bus comes to collect you at a bus stop near to your host family and brings you to the school or to the activities' venue. During the day, transport is organised and in the evening, EC will accompany you to the nearest bus stop to your host family.

In order to allow you to discover the island of Malta and its marvels, the group leaders organise activities. Amongst other things, you will be able to attend the multivision show "Malta Experience" where you will discover the more than 6000 years of history of the island. An excursion to the Blue Lagoon or a cruise around the island in order to observe the rocky formations and the grottoes which line the island or the fishing villages in the south or indeed the mythical guard towers. A complete programme awaits you! Activities will also be proposed to you in the evenings: discos, barbecues, evening on the beach.... All of the activities are supervised by the school staff. There will also be enough free time left over for shopping, sunbathing, or simply relaxing amongst international friends!
