Located in the town centre of St Julians, on the north-east coast of the island of Malta, the language school is one of the longest established schools on the island. In a small group, you will benefit from quality courses, especially designed for native speakers of foreign languages. You will attend classes in large, bright and comfortable classrooms in a warm atmosphere. As soon as you arrive, you will meet the teaching staff and the activities coordinators, who will be there to accompany you during your stay. After classes, the school will offer you to take part in recreational, sports and cultural activities as well as in full-day excursions.

The classes take place alternately in the morning one week and in the afternoon the following week. Therefore, the 20 weekly lessons of 45 minutes are usually held either from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. or from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. When you arrive, an evaluation test will situate your language level and will allow the teachers to admit you into a class of your language level. You will take lessons in classes of a maximum of 15 students, which will enable you to make quick progress!

Accommodation

Host family
If you wish to practise English in everyday situations, host family accommodation is the best option. Our families live in the region of St. Julians or in Sliema. You will share your bedroom with another student of another native language (if possible) or with a friend and receive half-board accommodation. From Monday to Friday, the school gives you a picnic for your lunches and when you go on an excursion during the weekend, the host family provides you with a packed lunch.

Private bus service
Each morning, a bus comes to collect you at a bus stop near to your host family and brings you to the school or to the activities' venue. During the day, transport is organised and in the evening, the bus will bring you to the nearest bus stop to your host family.

Leisure

In order to make the most of the Mediterranean climate and of the numerous resources of the island, the group leaders will bring you to visit Malta during the activities. For instance, you will go on a cruise around the island in order to admire the fishing villages in the south, the grottos which line the island, or else the legendary watchtowers which punctuate the coastline. Relaxing days on white sandy beaches or by the swimming pool are also scheduled. You will also attend the "Malta Experience" show, where you will learn about the history of the island. At nightfall, many other surprises await you in Malta! You will take part in barbecue parties, play volleyball or football on the beach, and enjoy outdoor parties and discos. All of the activities are supervised by activities coordinators.
