Our partner school proposes to you to learn English in a calm environment close to the centre of Torbay. The school includes 32 bright and comfortable classrooms, a multimedia room, a student lounge and a computer room with free Internet access. After the classes, you will be able to revise your English knowledge in the library of the school or in the bookshop. The course centre also has a cafeteria where you will be able to find something to eat. After classes and during breaks, you will be able to go for a walk in the garden of the school in the company of your new friends.

Daily schedule:
The English classes take place over four periods of 45 minutes per day, with a morning schedule of 9.15 a.m. to 12.35 p.m. or in the afternoon from 2.20 p.m. to 5.35 p.m. Whatever the schedule, you will benefit in parallel from the activities programme organised throughout the day. This will allow you to practise the language in a practical context, whilst meeting students from throughout the world. The exchange and communication between students during the leisure time slots represent a sizeable part of the learning of the language.
Accommodation
Host family
The students are accommodated in a host family and in this way benefit from special supervision, offered by local residents. This accommodation option allows you to discover the English lifestyle and to put into practice what you have learned during the day in class at home. Depending on availability, the bedrooms are shared by students of different nationalities. Carefully selected by our partner school, the families offer breakfast, a packed lunch and a hot evening meal.
Please note: this type of accommodation is best suited to autonomous students who will manage to get to the school on their own using public transport.
It is important to foresee GBP 16 per week (~ CHF 40 / EUR 24) for public transport costs.

Leisure
Each week, our partner school proposes an activities programme to you which includes games, sports and excursions in the region. On the Monday following your arrival, a visit of the town and its surroundings is scheduled in order to allow you to discover this magnificent region of England. During the week, our partner school will propose to you to visit the famous Kents Cavern or to go for a boat trip in order to discover the coastal town of Brixham. The discovery of Paignton Zoo or outings to water parks and leisure centres are also planned. The weekend is dedicated to excursions in the region: Exeter, Plymouth, Dartmoor National Park are amongst the visits which you will have the opportunity to do. You will spend the evenings with your host family, providing you with a great opportunity to get to know about and discover English life.
