English summer school in Boston

In Boston, you will be in good hands! Our partner school welcomes you in the centre of this exciting city, in the Fenway district. On the campus of Wheelock College, with the traditional charm of an American High School, everything is on-site. The school building houses modern classrooms. In spacious relaxation lounges, you will be able to watch television or view DVDs, and in both the library and bookshop, you will find something to satisfy your curiosity. You will be able to use computers or take advantage of the Internet access in order to facilitate the contact with those who have stayed at home. In the "Pilgrim Student Center", close to Wheelock College and still on the same campus, you will have the possibility to play table football or use the piano for improvised karaoke sessions. Here also, some computers are at the disposal of the students. There are also an outdoor courtyard (quad) and a shaded patio located on the campus. In the public park a few minutes' walk away from the school, a fitness track, basketball courts and other sports grounds may be used. The environment is enchanting, calm, and the city is only a stone's throw away. The shops, restaurants, the famous Fenway Park and all the atmosphere of this city in which the university life of the United States has its origins will fascinate you.

Residence
On the campus of Wheelock College, you will stay in shared bedrooms furnished with a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a chair for each student. The bathrooms are to be shared with the other students. You benefit from full board from Monday to Friday and from breakfast at the weekend before heading off on excursions. By living in the residence, you will share in the daily life of the other students. This represents a setting which is suited to meeting other students in an international environment and to the practice of the language. Supervision is assured on a 24/7 basis by the staff of our partner school, ELC.

The afternoon activities will bring you and your friends to the market or the cinema, for example. The Museum of Science will not fail to amaze you whilst a cruise in the port will relax you. A visit to the New England Aquarium and sports activities of all kinds will also be a part of the programme. During every outing, professional group leaders will be there to listen to your needs and will watch out for your well-being and safety. In the evening, you will be able to make the most out of your free time in order to relax and enjoy yourself with your friends. The residence's  TV lounge, computers and gym are available for your use. Finally, excursions are planned in order for you to enjoy yourself at the "Six Flags" amusement park, for example, to observe whales out in the ocean or to the visit the surroundings of Boston (Newport  in Rhode Island)...you are going to love your stay in Boston!
