Language school Manchester, Juniors programme (14–17 years)

You will study English in a typically British setting on the campus of the prestigious University of Manchester, together with students from the four corners of the globe. Located in Manchester’s vibrant centre, the language school reflects the character of the city itself: lively, fitted with first class facilities and designed for you to enjoy exceptional language holidays in a relaxed and multicultural environment!
This programme is particularly suitable for young students between 14 and 17 years who wish to benefit from attentive supervision while enjoying some autonomy. On this agreeable campus, recognized for its exceptional quality of life, they will take advantage of the numerous sports facilities available on-site, such as the sports hall, indoor swimming pool and outdoor playing fields, as well as the charming little park facing the residence.

All of the students will stay in a residence located in a historical building on campus, only 2 minutes’ walk from the building where the courses take place. They will benefit from comfortable single room accommodation and share the showers and toilets with the other residents – one bathroom per four students. The residence spreads over 9 floors and includes a large communal room equipped with a television and comfortable sofas where the students can meet up to chill out and chat. The three meals are served in the campus cafeteria, which is located 2 minutes away from the teaching block and the residence building.

After the morning classes, you will not have time to get bored! Sports activities on campus, shopping outings to Arndale shopping centre, museum visits and trips to the cinema will be organised in the afternoon and the school will also plan exciting evening activities for you! You will take part in karaoke, bowling or else games evenings with your new friends, and you will be able to reveal your hidden talents during « talent night ». Disco parties and treasure hunts will also be scheduled, not forgetting an afternoon in the Aerial Extreme centre, where participants will experience the thrills of high rope adventure, and a visit to the Manchester United FC Stadium that will not fail to appeal to football enthusiasts. Every Thursday, a full-day excursion will also be organised in order for students to discover the university towns of Cambridge and York as well as the charming village of Matlock in Derbyshire.
