Language school Mellieha, Juniors programs (12-17)

The school is located in the centre of the city of Mellieha, a 20 minutes’ walk away from the beach. Together with other students from the whole world, you will learn English in 10 large and well-equipped classrooms overlooking the beautiful bay of Mellieha and the Mediterranean Sea. A large outdoor yard, in the centre of the building, is used as a football or basketball playground which can be used during breaks or after class. Last but not least, qualified teachers will teach you English in a playful and communicative way.

Residence Bella Vista (spring/summer/autumn)
The school proposes a 4-star hotel that provides a safe environment for young students. This residence is located in Qawra, in the northern part of the island, 15 minutes away by bus from the school in Mellieha. Daily school bus transfers will be organised to take students to school and pick them up in the evening after the afternoon activities. Students are accommodated in three or four bedded rooms with private bathrooms. Every room is air-conditioned and includes a balcony and a television. Students will also have complimentary Wifi use available at the hotel’s reception. Full-board accommodation is provided. Breakfast and dinner are served as buffets in the residence. After breakfast, you will be given your packed lunch which consists of a sandwich, a fruit and a drink at the hotel. Finally, two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor and a small gym will definitely be appreciated by students who can meet up there and spend nice moments together. The school staff will be staying in the residence to ensure the security and well-being of the students.

Since you are staying on a Mediterranean island, water activities are a must! The school staff proposes a wide variety of them in the afternoon and in the evening: beach games, night swimming, excursion to the blue cave and much more. But the school also sees to it that you discover Malta and its beautiful attractions. You will make a trip around the island, an excursion to Valletta, Malta’s capital city, to Mdina also known as the Silent City, or else to a craftsman village. Activities such as swimming pool games, treasure hunts as well as various theme evenings and a trip to Sliema to buy some souvenirs are also scheduled. Be prepared to return home with unforgettable memories and an address book full of new contacts! Saturdays or Sundays (depending on your arrival) will be resting days that you will spend with your new international friends, unless you'd rather take part in an optional activity proposed by the school at an additional cost.

Optional sports: sailing, windsurfing and watersports!
Two optional weekly packages are available. Each package consists of 4 lessons of 90 minutes per week and the material is included in the price.
- Sailing: A qualified and experienced teacher will introduce you to this attractive sport. He will show you how to hoist the sails and change direction – you will enjoy moments of pure pleasure and discover a fascinating sport together with other aspiring sailors!
- Windsurfing: Stand on a board and be ready to take advantage of the faintest breeze to move forward – this is an opportunity to discover this sport with the guidance of a qualified teacher, who will give you a taste for gliding on turquoise waters!
- Watersports: If you can’t decide between these two sports packages, you can still take part in the water sports camp, which includes two sailing lessons, two windsurfing lessons and a kayak lesson. Each lesson lasts 90 minutes. This programme extends over 2 weeks.
