Our LAL partner school in Boca Raton welcomes students aged between 13 and 17 years and who are not complete beginners in English. It has its premises on the campus of Lynn University, one of the most secure in country, surrounded by almost half a kilometre squared of water and greenery. You have access to the library and the computer room (free Internet) and will enjoy experiencing the typical lifestyle of an American student. Recreational facilities such as swimming pools, sports halls and fields which allow you to play tennis, volleyball, basketball and football are also available every day at specific times. The campus in question is situated 3 kilometres away from the nearest beach and very close to one of Boca Raton's largest shopping centres. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Orlando are also easily accessible.

If you are of Swiss or European nationality, no visa is necessary to participate in the programme, insofar as you are in possession of a valid biometric passport which is valid for at least six months following your return date, in accordance with current legislation. Nevertheless, the student will need to get an electronic travel authorisation to be completed on the Internet a minimum of one week prior to the departure. Daily schedule:
During the first day of classes, the young students attend an information session, during which they are given the Welcome Packet, their identity card, and where they are introduced to the school's staff. They sit a placement test which allows them to join a class corresponding to their language level on the day itself. The English course consists of 20 lessons of 50 minutes per week, at a rate of 2, 3 or 4-week sessions, and sports and cultural activities in the afternoons and at weekends.

Accommodation
Students stay on the campus of Lynn University. In a triple or quadruple room with a private bathroom, you will also have a safe available to you and free Internet access in the computer room. Each block of bedrooms is also equipped with a TV room and games room. A cleaning service and 19 meals per week, eaten at the university cafeteria, are included.
Leisure
Besides activities such as sports, games or film evenings on the campus, three exterior activities spread out over the weekdays of every week are included. They can include afternoons at the beach, shopping, or even a visit to a tropical forest. In the evenings, outings to the cinema or discos will be proposed to you. On Saturdays, a full-day excursion awaits you, including an excursion to the Everglades National Park, to Disney World or to the NASA Kennedy Space Centre, a visit to the MGM or Universal studios or to its Adventure Island...whilst on Sundays you will be able to opt for an optional half-day activity at an extra charge. All of these activities are supervised by the school's staff and are an opportunity to practise your English outside of class times and above all, to make new friends from the four corners of the world.
