Language school Oxford, Oxford Brookes University Campus

This programme is aimed at young people between 14 and 17 years. The school is located on the Headington Hill Campus of the Oxford Brookes University, not far from the city centre which can be reached by foot in around 25 minutes. The campus is surrounded by greenery and you will find your classrooms there, which are very pleasant and modern. You will have your meals in the dining hall. Some evenings, you will be able to attend the showing of films or see a play - in the original English version! - in the auditorium. The students find a course centre here which allows them to learn English and to blossom in an environment conducive to encounters and activities.

Residence
It is in the comfortable and well-equipped university residence, Clive Boot Hall, that you will stay in a single room with a private bathroom, desk and telephone (for receiving phonecalls only). 4 to 6 bedrooms are grouped together in an apartment in which you will share a common room with your new international friends. A great opportunity to get to know your flatmates better and to practise English! There are vending machines for drinks and snacks, a paying laundry room and a permanent security service. The residence is located 15 minutes' walk from the course centre. All meals are taken in the course centre, except in the case of an excursion where a packed lunch is distributed.

Each week, 11 different activities are proposed by our partner school - no reason for you to be bored! Enrol for a disco evening, watch a film with your friends, sing at the top of your voici during a karaoke evening...But also play sport, go shopping, visit museums and discover local attractions. You will have a thousand opportunities to exchange your ideas with the other students who will be a part of the journey! On Thursdays, a day excursion will give you the opportunity to visit Bournemouth, London, The Cotswolds, St. Albans, Stratford, Bath or Warwick Castle. If you wish to participate in the optional half-day excursion on Sunday, it will be necessary to enrol at the school. If you choose otherwise, you will have a day of relaxation. The school's activity coordinators accompany the participants during all activities and excursions in order to ensure their well-being and safety.
