Language school Los Angeles, UCLA Campus (14–17 years)

The school is located on the magnificent campus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Covering 166 hectares and situated only 20 minutes from the Santa Monica beaches, it is served well by public transport and easily accessible (around 30 minutes) from Los Angeles airport (LAX). The lessons take place at the Marymount High School, a private school adjacent to the university, and students will be able to make use out of the libraries and numerous sports facilities on campus. The campus is equipped with several sports centres, open-air swimming pools, tennis courts and basketball courts. Perfect for letting off steam after classes and for practising your English with American students.

Residence
Students stay in a double room in the comfortable residence located 10 minutes' walk away from the language school building. The bedrooms are cleaned every week and are well-equipped, with 2 desks, 2 wardrobes, a telephone and Internet access. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor. You will also find a student lounge where you can go to chat with your friends. You will be provided with full board from Monday to Friday, breakfast at the weekend before going on excursions and with dinner on Saturday evenings. The school's activities coordinators also stay in the residence in order to watch out for the well-being and safety of the students.

After classes, you will meet up with your friends for afternoon activities. You will be able to choose from the following activities: swimming pool, beach volleyball, basketball, football, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee. Going to the beach is obviously also on the programme, with the famous beaches of Santa Monica and Venice Beach. You will have free time in the evenings in order to enjoy the campus facilities (swimming pool, gym, basketball or racquetball courts) and have fun with your friends. Excursions will also be proposed to you in order to discover the J Paul Getty museum, Disneyland (at a charge), Universal Studios, Hollywood, Melrose, LA city centre or Santa Barbara for example.
