Our partner school's course centre is situated at the heart of Montreux, only a stone's throw away from the central train station and 5 minutes' walk away from the the shores of Lake Geneva. This modern and welcoming school has spacious, bright and well-equipped classrooms. A common room with computers and free Internet connection allows students to work independently or to relax after classes. The building is also equipped with a sports hall and a cafeteria where meals are served at lunchtime.

The French classes take place in the morning and are given by qualified and experienced teachers. Challenging and personalised, the lessons are based on a modern and interactive approach to language learning that will allow you to make rapid progress without even realising it! The school offers a standard course (20 lessons per week) and an intensive course (25 lessons per week). The standard course includes 4 lessons per day whilst the intensive course includes 1 extra lesson per day dedicated to conversation, listening and reading comprehension.

Communication course
The communication course aims to develop your speaking skills in order to deal with everyday life situations. This course takes place twice a week at a rate of 2x45 minutes.

One-to-one course
Ideal for making quick progress, this course gives you the benefit of entirely personalised teaching. The teacher is at your entire disposal and will prepare a tailor-made programme for you. This course is given at a rate of 5 lessons of 45 minutes per week. (Few place available).

Please note: it is not possible to combine a communication course and a one-to-one course in the same week.

Accommodation

Host family
The school personally selects the families in charge of welcoming young students. The students stay in a double room, shared with another participant. This accommodation option is one of the best ways to immerse yourself totally in the culture of the region. In this way, thanks to daily contact with the family, you will learn how to express yourself directly in French and to get to know the mentality and the way of life of the French-speaking Swiss.

Please note: this type of accommodation is best suited to independent students who will be able to get to the school on their own using public transport.

Leisure

The school organises a leisure programme with numerous sports and cultural activities, including beach volleyball, swimming, evenings by the lake or sightseeing trips in the region, to keep you entertained after your French classes! Two (one half-day and one full-day) excursions are organised every week, allowing you to explore the treasures of this wonderful area: visit Vevey and its "Alimentarium" museum, take a steamboat trip up Lake Geneva, visit Lausanne and its Olympic Museum... In addition, optional activities at an extra charge, such as tennis, horse riding, excursions to the water park or shopping trips to Lausanne can be booked every Monday directly on site.

Please note: it is not possible to combine an optional activity with a communication or one-to-one course in the same week.
