School

In our course centre in Leysin, all of the conditions for a successful language study stay are fulfilled - entertainment and success are guaranteed. The course centre, which is located only 5 minutes' walk from the centre of the village, includes classrooms, a dining room, a recreation room, but also bedrooms. In the surroundings of the course centre, you will find a swimming pool (in the residence), a fitness centre, a climbing wall, ski-tows, shops and tennis and squash courts.

Standard course
During your first day of class, you sit a small language test, thanks to which you wil then be placed in a class corresponding to your language level. This course is made up of 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week and the maximum number of students per class is 14. The teaching takes place in French only, by teachers of this mother tongue.

French communication course
This course allows students to train everyday oral communication thanks to role plays. It takes place twice a week and each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

French one-to-one course
A one-to-one course allows you to deepen your knowledge of the language in an individual and particularly intensive way. This course is made up of 5 lessons of 45 minutes per week. (Few places available).

English courses
Our partner school also proposes English courses for groups of a minimum of 12 people. Contact us for further information!

Please note: it is not possible to take a communication course and a one-to-one course in the same week.

Accommodation

"Central" Residence
The students stay in a comfortable and welcoming residence in the centre of Leysin. The bedrooms are equipped with four beds, a private bathroom and a balcony. The meals, prepared according to regional or international recipes, are served in the dining room of the residence. During your moments of relaxation, you will be able to make use of the covered swimming pool or go to have fun with your friends in the games room. The teachers, who also stay on-site, are available to students on a 24-hour basis.

Leisure

Each afternoon, the school proposes a wide choice of activities to you, such as sports activities in the facilities nearby or visits to the towns of the Lake Geneva region. On Sundays, you will have the opportunity to go on an excursion to Montreux, Vevey, Le Bouveret or else to Gruyères. Visits to the Alimentarium in Vevey, to the Musée Olympique in Lausanne or to the Château de Chillon and water sports are also on the agenda. Optional activities like tennis or horse-riding must be booked in advance. Others, like curling, shopping in Lausanne, yoga or Aquaparc may be booked on-site.

Please note: It is not possible to combine either two optional sports activities nor an optional activity and a communication or one-to-one course in a same week.
