Language school Mehrerau, Juniors programme (12-15)

The superb building of this former territorial Abbey has modern and well-equipped classrooms. Young students from the whole world come here to do a language course that combines intensive learning of German and varied and exciting leisure activities in a unique green setting by the lake. 10 minutes from the centre of Bregenz in Austria and half an hour from the charming « city-island » of Lindau, you will enjoy being immersed in this language that is gaining in importance. The centre has excellent leisure facilities, such as sports fields and fitness rooms, tennis courts, a theatre, a multipurpose room and even a marina!

Students stay in entirely renovated rooms with 2 or 3 beds. Most of them are equipped with a private bathroom. The supervision staff stays on-site 24h/24, 7d/7. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken on-site together with all of the participants. The centre also provides snacks and fruits in the afternoon. Vegetarian or special meals can also be prepared on request.

The leisure club of the Mehrerau centre offers a varied activities programme that includes football, volleyball, bike rides, swimming in the lake, or pedalo rides in the afternoon. In the evening, you will have the possibility to play billiards or minigolf, take part in singing contests or barbecue parties around the lake. Outings to nightclubs are also offered, as well as movie viewings and guided tours of the city of Lindau. On Wednesday afternoons, your group will either go waterskiing or wakeboarding, or go to the Allgaü amusement park, or else see a birds of prey show in Bregenz. You will also visit the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshaften or the medieval castle of Ravenburg during a half-day excursion on Wednesdays.
At weekends, a full day will be dedicated to excursions to Munich, to the Mainau Island and the Meersburg Castle, to Constance and its Sealife Centre, to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhouse or Ulm. The Alpamare Aquaparc is also very popular and mountain hiking or the summer tobogganing run will arouse the participants’ enthusiasm. An amazingly wide range of leisure activities to explore a region rich in discoveries!
