Our partner school is situated at the heart of the city centre, close to the Plaza de Armas. The school is housed in a colonial building and has 23 classrooms, a large student lounge, a multimedia room and a sunny terrace where students can go to relax during breaks and after classes. Students can also benefit from WiFi access.

Course combined with a voluntary work programme
This is the ideal opportunity to combined Spanish classes with practical experience. Volunteer work also offers the opportunity to bridge the gap which often exists between natives and foreign visitors.

Volunteer projects offered:

Outside school hours care for disadvantaged children, from 3 to 16 (assistance with children’s homework, cooking, painting, etc.) Monday to Friday, 3.00 to 7.00 p.m.
Intervention in a little zoo, involving animal care, daily maintenance and reparation work, cleaning of the premises, welcoming visitors. Interest in and experience with animals is desired. Flexible hours. To be discussed on-site.
Assistance in supervision in some of the city’s sports clubs (karate, Taekwondo, table tennis, fitness, football, volleyball and basketball). Flexible hours. To be discussed on-site.

Programme requirements :

Minimum age : 18
Minimum of 4 weeks of Spanish courses, level required : intermediate
Minimum of 4 weeks of voluntary work
Accommodation at the school residence
CV and cover letter with preferred field of activity (in Spanish)
Previous experience in the chosen field of activity is a bonus
Conditions for a stay of more than 3 months : you just need to go to the Immigration office on-site

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is a unique opportunity to make the most out of your language course. You will immerse yourself in the Peruvian culture and the Spanish language, and so enhance your language skills. You will have a single room with half board included.

Student residence
 The residence is in the same building as the school. It is an ideal accommodation option if you want to stay in the city centre, have daily contact with international students and live near the school. You will stay in a single room and will share the bathroom, kitchen and other common areas with the other students. Two meals per day are included with this accommodation option.
