The EC programme
The course centre used by the EC school for its juniors programme benefits from an ideal location, close to the town centre and only a few minutes away from the seafront. Students staying with a host family will be able to get there easily by public transport whilst those who have opted for accommodation in the residence will stay on-site. The courses are organised according to a zig-zag system. They take place from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. one week and from 2.00 p.m. to 17.30 p.m. the following week. If you opt for the intensive course, you will have extra lessons between 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. But whatever your schedule, the students all meet up for the activities programme outside of class times. The classes are made up of a maximum of 15 people each and are organised by level. The evaluation test which you will sit on the first day of the course will determine which group you will join.

Leisure
You can never get bored in Brighton! Your group leaders will bring you to visit, for example, the Royal Pavilion, the Sea Life Centre, the castle and town of Lewes or even Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. But afternoons are also dedicated to sports with your activities coordinators, including ice-skating, golf, football, beach volleyball and much more. In the evenings...it's party time! You will be able to enjoy yourself during the parties organised by EC and experience memorable bowling or cinema evenings. A full-day excursion to London will allow you to visit a multitude of monuments, including the Houses of Parliament, Westminister Abbey or the Tower of London before stopping off for a picnic in one of the royal parks of the capital. Finally, give into some window shopping on Bond Street or in one of the souvenir shops in Oxford Circus. Your group leaders know the city well and will be enthusiastic in showing you around it. Don't hesitate, London is ready and waiting for you to discover it!
