The course centre is situated in a nice environment close to the city centre. There are 30 well-equipped classrooms and two common rooms. The campus is easy to access and is served well by public transport.

Courses
Classes take place from Monday to Friday and are organised according to a zig-zag system, which means they take place in the morning during one week, in the afternoon the following week and so on. The classes, organised by level, have a maximum of 15 students each. On the first day, following a general introduction to the campus and the city, you sit an evaluation test in order to placed in a class corresponding to your language level.
Accommodation
Host family
Our partner school proposes accommodation with a host family. The students stay in double rooms and half board (morning and evening) is provided. The midday meal is taken in various restaurants in the city.
Please note: this type of accommodation is best suited to independent students who will be able to get to the school on their own using public transport.
Jesus College Residence
Staying a residence represents a favourable setting for meeting and sharing daily life with other students. Students stay in double or single rooms. On every floor,you share the showers and bathrooms with the other students. The EC staff is present and is available to listen to students on a 24-hour basis. The midday meal is taken in various restaurants in the city whilst the evening meal is given in the course centre's canteen.
Please note : For students who stay with a family but also for those who stay in a residence, it is important to allow GBP 15 per week (∼ CHF 37/EUR 23) for public transport in Cambridge.

Leisure
Your stay will begin with a guided tour of the city, The school organises cinema afternoons, creative workshops and other social activities which will allow you to meet all of the students of various nationalities. In Cambridge, numerous sports are on the programme, including football, volleyball, cricket in the city's splendid parkes, swimming, bowling and group games. You will also have the opportunity to try out punting, a traditional activity which allows you to travel through the city in a rowing boat on the River Cam. Discos and BBQs are obviously on the programme, as well as visits to the city for shopping and making discoveries. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous colleges and King's College Chapel. At the weekend, a visit to London or to Oxford is organised. The capital is situated around an hour and a half away from Cambridge.
