New in 2010: Spring and autumn camps in Torbay!
During the Easter holidays, our partner school, LAL, will welcome students from 21st March until 25th April 2010 for a spring camp. The stay includes 20 English lessons per week, accommodation in a host family with full board and a complete programme of sports, cultural and fun activities and excursions. Unlike the summer camps, evenings are spent with the host family, Don't hesitate: the "English Riviera" is just as nice in spring as in summer!
And for the first time in 2010, a similar camp is proposed in the autumn. It will work on the same principle as the spring camp and will be open from 3rd to 24th October 2010. A good opportunity to get to know the Indian summer in Torbay!

Accommodation
Host family
Students stay with a host family and benefit in this way from individual supervision, offered by the local residents. This accommodation option allows you to discover the English lifestyle and to put into practice at home what you have learned in class during the day. Depending on availability, the bedrooms are shared by students of different nationalities. Carefully selected by our partner school, the families offer breakfast, a midday meal to take with you to school and a hot meal in the evening.
Please note: this type of accommodation is best suited to independent students who will be able to get to the school on their own using public transport.
It is important to set aside GBP 16 per week (~ CHF 40 / EUR 24) for public transport.

Leisure
The activities programme included in your stay offers you a daily dose of sports, games and excursions in the surrounding areas. On the first Monday, a visit to Torbay will allow you to familiarise yourself with the town and to discover one of the most beautiful regions of England. During the week, the school organises, for example, a boat trip to visit the neighbouring coastal town of Brixham, a visit to the famous Kents Cavern, or to Paignton Zoo, the third largest zoo in England. Outings to leisure centres or to water parks are also on the programme. In addition to these daily activities, special evening activities are proposed with entertainment like karaoke or cinema. Saturdays are reserved for more significant excursions, to places like Exeter, Plymouth or the Dartmoor National Park...without any doubt, one of the most beautiful regions of England.
