School
English Language Center (ELC)The building in which our partner school proposes summer courses for teenagers is situated at the heart of Boston, in the historical district of Beacon Hill. This elegant small 18th-century hill, today in the city centre, houses the new "State House" and splendid period houses. With its brick buildings, its leafy trees and gaslamps, the district embodies New England. However, the students will be welcomed in a very modern building, Suffolk University, which has the necessary space available for the teaching and accommodation of the participants, during the months of July and August. The university library and the multimedia room with free Internet access may be used at all times, as well as the leisure centre. A student lounge has a wide-screen TV for watching films and DVDs, as well as a billiards table. Finally, the cafeteria made available to students offers varied meals for all tastes.
Information
Passport infoIf you are of Swiss or European nationality, no visa is necessary to participate in the programme, insofar as you are in possession of a valid biometric passport which is valid for at least six months following your return date, in accordance with current legislation. Nevertheless, the student will need to get an electronic travel authorisation to be completed on the Internet a minimum of one week prior to the departure. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Important!
Boston is a great destination for a language study trip abroad, nevertheless it is vital to know that you will need to expect a relatively long journey to get there with, generally, one or two stopovers. Most airline companies will be able to offer you an accompaniment service, therefore do not hesitate to contact us for further information. It is however necessary that the student feels capable of managing this long journey. Then, all he/she has left to do is to enjoy American life!
Courses
The school, renowned for the quality of teaching of its teachers, will offer you exciting summer programmes. The academic part of the programme includes 20 lessons of general English per week, whilst the leisure part proposes a wide range of daily activities (5 per week) and excursions, which take place at the weekends.Accommodation

Leisure
The afternoon activities will bring you and your friends to the market or the cinema, for example. The Museum of Science will not fail to amaze you whilst a cruise in the port will relax you.
