School

The school has its premises on the campus of the University of Barcelona, around 40 minutes away from the city centre by public transport. It welcomes students from 13 to 17 years, of all levels of Spanish. Courses, meals, accommodation, activities, everything is organised directly on the campus, an optimal solution which offers great comfort to the participants and quality supervision. Excellent facilities such as a study room, computers with Internet, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool as well as other sports facilities of the university (tennis, volleyball, football, climbing wall) are at your disposal within the campus.

Courses

At the beginning of your stay, the students sit a Spanish test in order that they are placed in a class adapted to their level. The Spanish courses include four class periods of 45 minutes every morning during the week. These lessons cover the main subjects of learning a language like grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and of course, oral expression. in the afternoons, students continue with sports and cultural activities.

Accommodation

Residence
Our partner school proposes comfortable double rooms with a bathroom, on the university campus. The accommodation also includes full board and, with your friends from the school, you will be able to make use out of the various facilities of the residence, like the common room, the TV lounge or even the games room. The supervising team is present on a 24-hour basis and during the night, an adult group leader is available to students on every floor of the residence.

Leisure

The school has excellent sports facilities in order to fill the summer activities programme. Students can therefore play football, volleyball, tennis or even do some indoor rock climbing or go swimming in the swimming pool. In addition to sports, numerous workshops and other activities will satisfy all tastes, for example, participate in karaoke evenings, go to the beach or the concert hall. So many opportunities to practise your Spanish in a friendly and relaxed extra-curricular environment. In addition, every week, several excursions are organised by the school so that students may discover the Spanish way of life and culture. You will therefore visit marvellous museums, archeological sites, enjoy the lively streets of the city and go shopping in the famous Gothic Quarter or on Las Ramblas.
