Language studies in St Petersburg

The former capital of the Tsars is probably the most European city in Russia. A real challenge launched in the style of Peter the Great, its large boulevards and squares were built between the 18th and 19th centuries by renowned European architects. The result is enchanting. The Neva River and its various canals structures the city into different sectors and gives it a spirit found nowhere else. Each season brings along a cortege of festivities, such as the "Russian Winter Festival" between December and mid-January or classical music and jazz festivals and numerous spectacles like the dance festival in the white light of the "sleepless nights" of June.
