Dutch courses for children and teenagers

Goedendag! There are many reasons why one might want to learn Dutch, this guttural language which influenced more than a few words of our vocabulary. But one thing is for sure: if you start studying this language, you are sure to travel in your mind! Since the Dutch have always been a people of navigators, fishermen, and merchants that has had a great influence on several languages while describing and defining the functions and products related to their activity. Thus, without knowing it, we already use Dutch words when we say coleslaw, cookie, and cruise! In Europe, the frontier between German culture and Roman culture splits little Belgium into two. In the north of Belgium (in Flanders), people speak Dutch, while in the south (Wallonia), people speak French. In the Netherlands, and in some old colonies in the Antilles islands and in South America, Dutch is spoken by the whole population. So you may want to learn this language based on your personal interests, for your personal development, or in order to be able to communicate with people in Europe and overseas. Our Dutch language study programmes in Belgium (Spa and Ferrieres) are designed for young students from 9 to 17 years old and take place in spring and autumn (Spa), or in the summer (Ferrieres).
