International House Methodology and Culture Course
Designed for Spanish teachers that are not native speakers, Methodology and Culture aims to update your knowledge of the language and culture as well as introduce them to the latest teaching methodology.
The course includes 60 sessions over 2 weeks to review themes such as Spanish culture & civilisation. IH also offer a four day version of the course.
Key elements of the Spanish language refreshed include the past tenses, vocab, ser/estar and the subjunctive. Teaching methods covered include class layouts, lesson structure, when and why to use certain techniques, speaking, listening, writing and reading skills and how to take advantage of technology. The cultural aspect of the course offers a fascinating insight into Spanish life.
