If you want to make the fastest progress with the language you are learning, staying with a host family is the way to do it. Local hosts are chosen carefully by the schools, after a rigorous application process. Living with native speakers, eating with them and discovering local culture with them, you will learn in a fast and authentic way.

In big cities, hosts will often live outside the city centre, but there will always be good public transport connections. 

For total independence, some schools offer private studios or apartments, fitted to the standard expected by professionals. Serviced apartments offer the standards of a hotel but with more privacy.

It is of course possible to book only your course with ESL and to organise your accommodation yourself.
