ESL - English PLUS Business and Digital Media
The course
This programme – combining 20 General English lessons and 8 “Business and Digital Media” lessons per week – includes three 1-month modules. Even though the minimum duration is 2 weeks, the school recommends attending at least one full module (1 month) to gain a global overview of the topic. The full programme takes place over 12 weeks (3 modules).

The 3 modules are the following:
  1. Social Media Marketing and Digital Strategy
  2. New Technologies, and Communication Systems
  3. Creative software and the digital media workplace

In the afternoons, students will learn about all the different aspects of business communication; for example, they will acquire specific vocabulary, learn how to approach a brief and how to present a project in a clear and interesting way. The course also requires several hours of independent work every week.
Practical afternoons
The school organises practical activities related to the different modules. Students will visit local creative and digital media companies (2 per module) and work on a project that will help them understand the company’s structure and digital strategy, as well as the different roles within the company. They will also attend 2 coaching sessions, where they will put into practice all their newly acquired skills, in order to present a project and make a potential client pitch.
