Test your language skills
On this page, you will find different online language tests for English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese (Mandarin), Arabic and Russian.
Each of these tests includes between 30 and 50 multiple-choice questions. There is always only one correct answer. We advise you to allow about 20 minutes to answer all the questions. Before starting, set aside the necessary time to complete the test without interruptions. These tests are free of charge and you don’t have to register your details before starting.
At the end of the test, you will have your results immediately: the number of correct answers as well as your level corresponding to the European languages framework. Of course, this is only an approximation, but the result will give you an idea of your current level.
A pre-entry test is sometimes necessary (in the case of a Cambridge certificate preparation course, for example) in order to obtain a precise evaluation of your language skills.
In all cases, a more complete test, taken on the first day of your course in a language school, will measure your language level in a more precise manner.
